A few years ago the reality of life hit me like a stack of blueberry pancakes. Without my permission, my body had gone south. It had never been a problem for me. Staying fairly active and eating what my heart desired always worked pretty well. The next thing I knew, my son was poking me in the stomach and waiting for me to giggle. So, I cut out my favorite snacks and waited for the improvement. Nothing happened. I knew it was time to get serious, so I joined a prestigeous health club.
Who am I kidding? I signed up at the local YMCA and am still a proud member. Actually, most of us there prefer the relaxed and affordable atmosphere it provides. I haven't stayed on my programs 100% of the time, but overall it has kept me in great shape. My son started to notice that old dad was looking better, so he started working out with me. Now, we have a great activity that transcends age and gives us quality time together.
I encourage you to take that step and begin your transformation. If you are a training veteran, move on up to the next step. If you engage in physical activity your body has to respond. If you keep at, it will continue to respond. It's as simple as that. Of course, there is diet, sleep, positive attitude, etc., but to get your desired results just begin now. The time has come.
